Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT System Administrator (Junior) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure, deployment and maintenance of BIM software and tools, and ensuring a secure, reliable, and efficient IT environment that enables smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first‑level technical support (onsite and remote) for hardware, OS, basic network, and standard business applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve user incidents via the ticketing system, escalating to senior admin
• Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts, mailboxes, and access permissions following IT policies
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation, account setup, and access revocation.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems and approved software on workstations and laptops.
• Monitor BIM workstation performance (CPU, RAM, GPU, storage) and coordinate hardware upgrades or tweaks to meet project and model size requirements
• Assist in configuring and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Support BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, etc.), ensuring seamless operation and compatibility for workflows.
• Maintain network security measures, including antivirus updates, system patches, and access controls.
• Monitor backups, disaster recovery systems, and data protection procedures.
• Support cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Develop scripts and automation processes to improve IT operational efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, policies, and procedures, and coordinate with vendors for IT services.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• 0-2 years of experience as a System Administrator, preferably in the AEC or BIM industry.
• Proven experience in supporting BIM tools like Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, etc, will be an added advantage.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CCNA, MCSA, preferred
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or virtualization.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with antivirus tools, system updates, and basic cybersecurity practices.
• Experience in database management (SQL, NoSQL) and knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
