Job Description

As the main point of contact for IT support, your role involves handling user inquiries through various communication channels such as phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems. You are expected to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues promptly and efficiently. Providing step-by-step guidance to users and ensuring proper documentation for future reference are essential tasks. Your responsibilities also include escalating complex technical issues to second- or third-level support teams for quick resolution. Maintaining accurate records of problems, solutions, and service requests within the IT service management system is crucial. Additionally, you will assist in user account management tasks such as password resets, access requests, and permissions changes. Furthermore, part of your role is to offer basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices to help them develop effective technology use skills. You will need to adhere to established processes, contribute to enhancing the internal knowledge base, and ensure compliance with company IT policies, security guidelines, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Supporting IT asset management by overseeing hardware and software inventory to optimize resource utilization is also within your responsibilities.
