Job Description

Role Overview: As an Application Support Specialist at Infor, you will be responsible for providing support for a specific set of Infor products and other third-party reporting applications. Your role will require you to work on a shifting schedule covering different time zones (APAC, EMEA, or US). Key Responsibilities: - Maintain clear, concise, and timely communication with affected parties during the investigation and resolution of individual or system-wide outages - Track and monitor application issues through the centralized ticketing system - Respond to incidents, record incident activity, and solve problems - Work independently using available support material and tools to successfully resolve problems or escalate as needed - Perform user administration for internal applications - Manage workload effectively, provide accurate accounting of work and time allocation - Create documentation on technical troubleshooting and best practices to improve self-reliance and reduce dependency on development or external team resources - Provide input on methods to increase operational efficiencies and technical product improvements - Become an internal expert on supporting Infor software and other enterprise products Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of previous application support experience - 1+ years of experience in SQL (Microsoft/Oracle/DB2/Postgre) - Strong analytical skills - Ability to perform consistently in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented global environment - Good organizational skills - Clear communication skills in both verbal and written/electronic modes - Familiarity with basic functions of reporting applications - Knowledgeable on any of the Reporting Applications (Birst / Power BI/ Tableau / SSRS / Domo),
