IT-Sr Systems Engineer

At Cadence, we are seeking an Engineering graduate (Computer/Electronics) with at least 8-10 years of experience in System Administration, specifically working on Redhat Linux, SUSE Linux, AIX, and Cent OS. As a member of the Core Unix global system admin team, your responsibilities will include installation, configuration, and administration of RHEL and SLES systems, as well as system builds, server builds, installs, upgrades, patches, migration, and troubleshooting. You must possess a good working knowledge of administering LDAP and DNS servers, networking concepts, and hardware support experience. In addition, you should have the ability to prioritize tasks, work well under pressure, collaborate effectively with team members, and maintain a professional demeanor. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this role. Preferred qualifications include a good working knowledge of Foreman, Elk, and Grafana. The role will involve working on global projects and rollouts, contributing to impactful solutions in the world of technology.
