IT Specialist

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience in Open Source and Red Hat OpenStack cloud environments, your primary responsibility will be to design, deploy, and automate private/hybrid cloud infrastructures using Ansible and Ceph storage systems. You will play a crucial role in architecting and managing scalable, secure cloud infrastructure utilizing Red Hat OpenStack and Ceph. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and Bash to streamline cloud operations effectively. Your duties will include performing full-stack deployment and lifecycle management of OpenStack services, leading infrastructure upgrades, security patching, and VM provisioning with robust governance. Monitoring performance and utilization with proactive capacity planning and alerts tuning will also be part of your responsibilities. Engaging in root cause analysis with OEMs and applying production-grade fixes and optimizations will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the cloud infrastructure. Furthermore, mentoring peers and enhancing operational efficiency through best practices and documentation will be essential in this role. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with at least 8 years of experience in Red Hat RHEL Linux, Opensource/RHOSP cloud stacks, and familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift. Your expertise in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, and Ansible will be crucial. Experience in virtualization (KVM, VMware), Ceph storage, and Linux system administration will also be beneficial. It would be advantageous if you have knowledge in networking.
