IT Software Engineer Fullstack Developer

As a Software Engineer in the Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance (GCRG) Tech Crew at UBS, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Developing required web applications and services following sound development methods and tools - Implementing technical solutions in line with clean code principles - Testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing services - Implementing tools and best practices for release, environment, and configuration management - Contributing to best practices for creating elegant, efficient, and reusable code - Demonstrating your creative, technical, and analytical skills regularly - Identifying and collaborating with individuals and systems affected by functional and non-functional requirements - Working with global tech and cross-functional teams to deliver global tech solutions Your expertise should include: - 5+ years of professional application development experience with server-side technologies such as Core Java & Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and build tools like Maven/Gradle/Ivy - Strong understanding of Microservices and RESTful implementation - 1+ years of experience in Web UI development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React JS - Proficiency in writing efficient SQL, working with relational databases like PostgreSQL/Azure SQL/Oracle, and knowledge of Hibernate/JPA, Transaction Management, and Stored Procedure implementation - Practical experience with data structures, algorithms, SOLID principles - Knowledge of cloud native applications using containers - Familiarity with Git as a source code repository, operating in DevOps principles for task automation and CI/CD pipelines - Deep understanding of application development aspects (SDLC), design patterns, and support life cycle.
