IT Senior Infrastructure Engineer

You will play a crucial role in managing all network hardware and equipment, ensuring network connectivity, and performing network design and capacity planning. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and administering hardware and software upgrades, conducting research on infrastructure products and services, and interacting with vendors to secure necessary products and services. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures for infrastructure resource administration, asset management, and disaster recovery. As part of your role, you will manage and maintain various systems such as Cisco Call Managers, Mitel Controller VoIP voice systems, and Teams Voice. You will also liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes for new SD-WAN connections and oversee WAN and LAN installations. Monitoring and testing network and server performance, providing performance statistics and reports, and recommending improvements, upgrades, and repairs to infrastructure components will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with Business Managers to ensure that the needs of each region/business unit are considered in WAN design is essential. Supporting Business Systems teams throughout project lifecycles and ensuring compliance with established policies, standards, licensing agreements, and configuration guidelines for Windows-based workstations and servers will be key aspects of your role. You will also assist in defining and implementing system backups and recovery procedures, as well as strategies for integrating Windows and non-Windows operating environments.
