Job Description

Job Title: IT Sales Executive Location: Zambia, Africa Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a results-driven B2B IT Sales Executive to drive sales of our IT products and services, including ERP solutions, core banking support tools, fintech solutions, website development, and managed IT services. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling IT solutions, a strong understanding of the B2B market, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential clients in banking, financial institutions, and businesses that require IT solutions. Sales & Business Development: Pitch and sell IT products and services, including ERP, fintech solutions, and managed IT services. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries. Consultative Selling: Understand client needs, propose customized IT solutions, and close deals. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Prepare sales proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate pricing and contracts. Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets. Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure smooth project implementation. Reporting: Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts. Key Skills & Qualifications Experience: Min 3+ years in B2B IT sales, preferably in ERP, fintech, core banking solutions, or managed IT services. Education: Bachelors degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT solutions, SaaS, cloud services, and APIs. Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and meet sales targets. Networking Ability: Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and decision-makers. CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools to track sales activities. Preferred Qualifications MBA in sales & Marketing Experience selling to banks, financial institutions, or businesses in need of IT solutions.
