IT Network Administrator

You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software. This includes monitoring and optimizing network performance, administering firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, and other network devices. In addition, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues, implementing network security protocols, managing user access and permissions, and performing regular system backups and recovery procedures are key aspects of your role. You will also maintain documentation related to network configurations, system logs, and asset inventory, as well as plan and implement network upgrades and expansions. Responding to and managing network outages and emergencies promptly is crucial. Furthermore, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related facility requirements, including coordination with building management, maintenance teams, and relevant authorities for infrastructure support. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and services. - Experience with network hardware. - Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. - Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and security practices. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. - May require after-hours support or on-call availability for emergencies. - Physical ability to install network equipment (lifting, climbing, etc.).
