IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer

As an IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer at our organization, your role involves managing our IT systems, ensuring network security, and maintaining a robust infrastructure environment for both our Head Office and Factory Office operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and maintain IT hardware including computers, laptops, and peripheral devices - Configure and monitor Windows/Linux servers including file, mail, and application servers - Setup, configure, and maintain networking devices such as routers, switches, and access points - Administer and secure firewalls, VPNs, and monitor network traffic - Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, conduct regular security audits, and respond to threats - Perform regular backups and conduct disaster recovery drills - Monitor overall system performance, health, and uptime - Support software installations, updates, and troubleshoot IT-related issues - Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and configuration management - Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware/software support and procurement **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus **Experience:** - Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity roles **Additional Details:** This role requires in-depth knowledge of networking protocols (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), experience with firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, SonicWall), proficiency in server administration (Windows Server, Linux/Ubuntu), solid understanding of cybersecurity tools and practices (antivirus, SIEM, threat detection), strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage IT assets, inventory, and maintain proper documentation.
