Description
As a SEBI-registered stockbroker with NSE and BSE, Pashupati Capital Services (PCS) utilizes its IT infrastructure for proprietary algorithmic trading and broking services. We are currently in search of a technically proficient, hands-on, and enthusiastic L3 IT Head to take charge of leading our IT infrastructure, data center operations, and support systems. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing L1 and L2 teams, supervising server and hardware deployments, coordinating vendor and procurement workflows, and ensuring the continuous high availability of mission-critical systems. Your principal responsibilities will include overseeing the IT infrastructure across data centers, firewall policies, provisioning, and endpoint security. You will play a crucial role in leading and managing L1/L2 IT teams, enforcing operational excellence through the implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and refining SOPs for governance, disaster recovery, and security compliance. Leading the deployment and maintenance of enterprise-grade servers from reputable brands such as Dell, Cisco, Supermicro, and Huawei will fall under your jurisdiction. You will also be responsible for managing co-location setups in various data centers such as NSE, BSE, STT, and Yotta, including tasks like racking, liquid cooling, cabling, and power planning. Furthermore, your expertise will be needed to configure BIOS settings, manage IPMI/iLO access, enable network booting, and conduct remote diagnostics. In terms of Linux and system administration, you will be expected to expertly install, fine-tune, and secure various Linux distributions like Rocky, RHEL, and Ubuntu. This will involve tasks such as kernel upgrades, repo/yum management, and the deployment of trading platforms and monitoring agents on customized Linux boxes. Additionally, you will provide support for Windows Server environments and various virtualization stacks including VMware, Xen, and Hyper-V. Your role will also encompass managing networking and security aspects such as the deployment and optimization of SFP/QSFP, Twinax, MM/SM cabling, and breakout patching. You will oversee firewall rulesets, VLANs, routing policies, and endpoint protections, working closely with trading teams to troubleshoot and minimize system/network latency. As the L3 IT Head, you will lead the procurement of compute/network/storage infrastructure in alignment with trading requirements and maintain vendor relationships, warranties, and service level agreements (SLAs) for all hardware and software systems. Conducting system-level audits, performance benchmarks, and ensuring compliance with NSE/BSE regulatory requirements for co-located environments will also be part of your responsibilities. To be eligible for this role, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with a minimum of 3 years in trading or mission-critical systems leadership. Mastery in Linux system administration is crucial, along with experience in kernel tuning, driver integration, custom performance profiles, and repository configurations. You must have a proven track record of managing full lifecycle deployments in co-location trading setups, expertise in BIOS tuning, server hardware builds, and virtualization platforms, and familiarity with institutional-grade environments like NSE/BSE. In addition to technical skills, strong team management, documentation, and troubleshooting abilities are essential for success in this position. An advanced diploma in Computer Applications, Hardware Networking, or an equivalent field is required. The working hours for this role are Monday to Saturday from 10:30 AM to 07:30 PM, with an additional 5-6 hours on Saturdays. The salary offered will be commensurate with your experience, skills, and last drawn CTC. Holidays will be provided in accordance with the NSE/BSE holiday calendar.,
