IT DEVELOPER

As an important member of Buckzy, you will play a crucial role in writing quality, maintainable software in a highly secure and compliant environment. Your deep understanding of building server-side components in a hosted cloud platform will be essential as we strive for a direct-to-production pipeline. Your self-motivation and experience with large-scale distributed systems will be invaluable in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in solving complex problems with a diverse set of engineers and product owners - Design and implement performant, well-tested, and easy-to-maintain microservices at scale - Mentor and support your peers to foster personal development within the team **Qualifications:** - Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience as a JAVA backend services developer in delivering highly compliant, available, and scalable applications in a cloud operating environment - Recommended experience in the financial industry - Expertise in developing Java Microservices using spring boot, docker, Kubernetes, etc. - Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and familiarity with other languages - Experience in building, testing, and consuming REST APIs - Familiarity with high-throughput messaging technologies and patterns; experience with Kafka and/or related technologies is a plus - Exposure to various types of databases including relational, analytical, columnar, etc.; familiarity with Postgres is a plus - Proficiency in Git source control and building/maintaining Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines; experience with Jenkins is a plus - Experience in Object-Oriented Development - Knowledge of Blockchain development is considered a plus - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum-inspired delivery methodology If you possess the above qualifications and are a pleasantly persistent, highly coachable, and motivated-to-succeed professional, Buckzy is interested in discussing this opportunity with you.
