Job Description

Job Title IT Consulting Responsibilities Key Qualifications 4+ years of running services in a large scale Unix environment. Understanding of SRE principles and goals along with good Oncall experience Experience and understanding on Scaling, Capacity Planning and Disaster Recovery Fast learner with excellent analytical problem solving and communication skills The ability to design, author, and release code in any language (Go, Python, Ruby or Java would be a plus) Deep understanding and experience in one or more of the following - Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Docker, Mesos, Spinnaker, Helm Experience working on supporting Java applications Experience using monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk etc. Familiarity with DNS, HTTP, message queues, queueing theory, RPC frameworks, datastore Technical and Professional Requirements: Skillset Spark (primary) + Kube + Application Troubleshooting (Java+ Scala) Preferred Skills: Bigdata->Hadoop Bigdata->Spark Bigdata->Pyspark Bigdata->Python Additional Responsibilities: Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data Awareness of latest technologies and trends Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions One or two industry domain knowledge Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering Service Line Data & Analytics Unit * Location of posting is subject to business requirements
