Job Summary:

The IT Back-End Support is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing server-side systems, databases, and applications that power the organization’s technology infrastructure. This role ensures that all back-end processes and integrations run smoothly, securely, and efficiently to support internal users and client-facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management:
• Manage and maintain SQL / NoSQL databases including backup, recovery, tuning, and optimization.
• Perform routine data integrity checks and ensure secure access control.
• Server & Application Management:
• Install, configure, and maintain back-end applications, web servers, and middleware services.
• Collaborate with the DevOps or System Admin team to deploy updates and patches.
• Integration Support:
• Maintain and troubleshoot integrations between internal systems and third-party applications via APIs or middleware.
• Support automation workflows and data synchronization processes.
• Monitoring & Reporting:
• Use monitoring tools to track system health, uptime, and performance.
• Generate reports and provide insights on recurring issues and potential improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills:

• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Understanding of network fundamentals and cybersecurity practices.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
