IT and Web Development Executive

As an IT and Web Development Executive at our company, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy websites. Your key responsibilities will include: - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Debugging and resolving technical issues promptly. - Ensuring websites are responsive, optimized for performance, and compatible across various browsers and devices. - Deploying websites to cloud servers and ensuring smooth operation. - Managing and maintaining databases, particularly MySQL. - Implementing security best practices to safeguard websites and user data. - Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. In order to excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Python and experience with the Django framework. - Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization. - Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Experience with database management, particularly MySQL. - Ability to deploy websites to cloud servers and manage server configurations. - Knowledge of the Linux operating system and command line tools. - Familiarity with FileZilla or other FTP clients for file transfer. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Additionally, the following qualifications would be preferred: - Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular. - Experience with using MailChimp for sending out bulk emails. - Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. - Understanding of SEO principles and best practices. As an IT and Web Development Executive, you will work closely with the Head of Operations & Productions and the Director. While you will be supervised by them, you will also be expected to work autonomously. Effective communication and relationship maintenance with all stakeholders including staff, contractors, clients, and visitors are essential for success in this role.,
