IS DevOps & Data Quality Engineer

As the IS DevOps & Data Quality Engineer at ABB, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions and automated workflows to enhance insights into data quality. Your primary focus will be to ensure consistency between source and target systems, optimizing data processes within the A3 platform to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data. Collaborating closely with source teams, architects, and developers, you will establish, monitor, and improve data quality standards. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries and database solutions, as well as working extensively with Snowflake for data warehousing and cloud-based data solutions. You will also be responsible for developing and integrating data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and implementing API-based integrations for seamless data flow across systems. In this role, you will automate data processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts. Additionally, you will ensure data quality reporting, identify anomalies, maintain high data integrity, and explore AI-driven solutions for data analysis and automation. Troubleshooting issues related to data pipelines and automation processes will be part of your responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams including data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or Business Analytics. Proficiency in developing custom automation tools and applications using C# and Python, along with extensive experience in Data Integration, Solution Architecture, Software development, Data Governance, and Quality Assurance is essential. Strong skills in DevOps, Azure Solutions Architect, SQL, Snowflake, ADF, Monitoring Tools, and Data Ingestion Metrics are also required.
