Lead and execute mechanical design projects from concept to completion product. Carries out detailed mechanical design work including 3D models, perform simulations (mechanical structural and thermal final element simulations) , and support design verification. Independently delivering engineering projects to scope, implement, Design review, monitor, and deliver designated tasks and deliverables to achieve design and development objectives. Support engineering change (ECO) processes, Redesigning, improve existing products for performance, cost, and design for manufacturability (DFM). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (project manager, Electronics, Software, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering , Manufacturing, operations, etc.). Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design presentations. Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities. Ensure compliance with design standards and highlight technical risks. Liaise with suppliers and customers for DFM, reviews, and issue resolution. Design fixtures and tools for assembly, testing, and inspection. Requirements: BSc in Mechanical Engineering (MSc a plus). 5+ years in mechanical design (motion systems/electronics packaging preferred) in automotive companies - a plus.
