Key responsibilities include managing projects, facilitating communication between teams and driving product design and development processes to meet quality standards and delivery timelines. Key Responsibilities Define design direction and standards for Pharma Machinery (Solid Dosage), tooling and processes. Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team. Stay updated with technological trends and implement improvements in manufacturing operations. Collorabate with cross-functional teams (eg.manufacturing, quality assurance, electrical) to ensure design feasibility and integration. Liase with clients to understand requirements and translate them into innovative design outcomes. Utilize CAD software (eg. Solid Works, AutoCAD) to create and manage 2D and 3D models and drawings. Ensure design meet all safety, quality and performance criteria through testing and analysis. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications and user manuals. Troubleshoot design issues and devise effective solutions. Review designs with clients, incorporating feedback and ensuring client satisfaction. Qualifications Proficiency in Design Management and the ability to oversee design processes and lead a design team effectively, preferably with an Engineering Manufacturing company. Proven experience in leading design and development projects, preferably in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical equipment industry. Knowledge of 3D software (Solid works, Solid Edge etc.) Excellent leadership, project management and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a dynamic environment.

The role requires strong command over CAD tools, design principles, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:- Design & Development Lead the engineering team in designing new and improved pharmaceutical machinery (Solid Dosage / Tablet Press Machines). Oversee the entire design lifecycle—concept, prototyping, testing, validation, and production. Technical & Process Leadership Define design standards, guidelines, and best practices for machinery, tooling, and processes. Conduct design reviews and provide mentorship to the design team. Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, electrical, and automation teams. Liaise with clients to understand requirements and convert them into innovative machine designs. CAD & Documentation Utilize CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge) to create and manage 2D & 3D models. Prepare detailed design documentation, user manuals, and specifications.
