Ipd Billing Executive

Paras Hospital is hiring IPD Billing Executive for Gurgaon location.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inpatient Billing & Final Settlement

• Prepare interim and final inpatient bills accurately and on time.
• Ensure correct charging of services, procedures, investigations, and consumables as per tariff and doctor order.
• Coordinate with wards, pharmacy, lab, and radiology for timely posting of charges.
• Reconcile advance payments and prepare discharge summaries for billing clearance.

2. Cashless / TPA Billing

• Coordinate with the TPA / insurance desk for approval, enhancement, and final billing.
• Maintain all supporting documents for cashless and reimbursement claims.
• Resolve discrepancies and queries raised by the TPA/insurance team.

3. Corporate and Package Billing

• Apply appropriate package rates as per agreed contracts with corporates or TPAs.
• Ensure compliance with package inclusions and exclusions before final billing.

4. Revenue Reconciliation & Reporting

• Maintain daily billing reports, adjustments, and revenue statements.
• Support finance in monthly revenue closure and audit requirements.

5. Customer Service & Coordination

• Handle patient and attendant queries regarding billing and payments professionally.
• Liaise with medical, nursing, and front office teams for smooth discharge process.

6. Compliance & System Updates

• Ensure billing entries comply with hospital policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
• Regularly update billing systems (HIS) and maintain confidentiality of patient data.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in Commerce / Hospital Administration.
• 4+ years of experience in IP billing within a hospital setup.
• Working knowledge of hospital billing software (HIS), Excel, and TPA processes.

Key Skills:

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet discharge timelines.
• Knowledge of package billing, TPA documentation, and statutory compliances (GST, etc.).
