IP Billing Executive (Hospital)

Job Description

Job Description: Ortho One is seeking an experienced Billing Executive with a strong background in hospital billing, particularly in Inpatient (IP) Billing . The ideal candidate will efficiently manage patient billing processes while providing excellent service and ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Collect advance payments and finalize bill settlements. Prepare final inpatient bills ahead of patient discharge. Conduct ward rounds twice daily for billing updates and to ensure accuracy in patient records. Clarify any doubts regarding surgery counseling and insurance as needed. Address patient billing queries with clarity and professionalism. Update inpatient billing records regularly and collect interim payments as required. Follow up on pending billing clearances and resolve discrepancies. Ensure timely submission of bills to the Insurance Department. Verify payment entries for insurance patients. Update inpatient billing records regularly and collect interim payments as required. Handle refund processes and necessary follow-ups. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and billing regulations. Qualifications & Requirements: Qualification: Any degree Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital billing. Skills: Strong inter-department coordination, particularly with consultants and the insurance team. Knowledge of insurance billing processes and payment verification. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Time-management skills, ensuring timely billing, follow-ups, and reporting. Excellent communication skills for both internal teams and patient interactions.
