iOS Lead

Collaborate with designers to create compelling user interfaces, experiences and UI prototypes.

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and bring innovation to the app.

Develop an intrinsic understanding of the business and collaborate with the team to translate requirements to functional specifications.

Rigorous testing of the application to ensure it meets quality standards.

Actively participate in daily standups, team planning meetings, application demos, and other team meetings.

Actively participate in peer code reviews and internal technical workshops.

Take the ownership for your work from understanding the requirements and design, to implementation, testing, and maintenance.

Conduct interviews to hire new talent, and groom and train junior developers.

Proactive, have a problem solving mindset, critical thinking and great communication skills.

Basic Skills / Qualifications

1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

2. Proven experience in designing and developing iOS applications using MVVM, and Clean Architecture

3. Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store.

4. Proficient in Swift, Objective-C and Cocoa Touch.

5. Hands-on experience writing quality unit and integration tests.

6. Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Realm, Core Animation, XCTest etc.

7. Experience with offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning

8. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

9. Understanding of Apple s design principles and interface guidelines

10. Familiarity with push notifications and app extensions.

11. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git.

12. Familiarity with CI/CD using Jenkins or AppCenter.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

1. Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries.

2. Experience with resource optimization like Data-usage, Battery consumption etc, and performance monitoring tools.

3. Knack for benchmarking and optimization.

4. Experience with Bluetooth scanning, iBeacon technology is a huge plus.

5. Exposure to wearable app development (watchOS or other platforms) is a huge plus.
