This role requires established coding skills, proven experience in the digital and/or financial sector, and relevant qualifications. Role & Qualifications Requirements

Matric certificate with relevant tertiary qualification5+ years of experience in IOS mobile application developmentKnowledge of, and experience in mobile frameworks and technologies such as:

• Containerisation: Kubernetes, Docker
• CI/CD - Jenkins, AWS Code Commit
• AWS (preferred) or another cloud provider such as AZURE or Google Cloud Platform
• Confluence, Jira
• Microsoft Teams, Slack
• Terraform
• AppCode
• Kotlin (advantageous)
• Swift
• IOS
• Xcode
• App Centre
  

Familiarity with architecture styles such as Microservice and Serverless architectures
Build cloud based functional mobile applications at an enterprise level.Create and test software prototypes.Develop technical specifications and software application architecture and designs.Review and refactor code according to coding standards.Contribute to the technical roadmap and vision of the Digital & Data team.Ability to understand and communicate and/or translate complex procedures.Analyse system requirements and provide estimations within a team setting.Work closely with multi-skilled and cross-functional teams e.g. architects, developers, UX designers, business.Write clean, testable code.Knowledge of coding design patternsFollow Agile methodologies (SCRUM / Kanban)Work in a DEVOPS culture with analysts, testers, and scrum masters.Provide afterhours support of applications (you build it, you run it)Provide higher-level technical and programming support to fellow-developers/engineers.Research and recommend programming-related advances to team(s)Critical thinking, root cause identification skills and attention to detailAbility to learn new technologies quickly.Good communications skills and a team playerComfortable with pair programmingPossess commercial and business awareness.
