Role Overview We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automation testing and a solid understanding of application security testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and security of our software products. Experience in identifying vulnerabilities, conducting penetration/security testing, and recommending solutions will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality. Conduct security and vulnerability testing, including penetration testing, to identify potential threats. Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software. Track, document, and manage defects to resolution. Ensure compliance with best practices for quality assurance and security testing. Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices within the organization. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in QA, with expertise in both manual and automation testing. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar). Experience with security testing/penetration testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit, or equivalent). Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills. Nice to Have Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or ISTQB. Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and their security aspects.
