Role & Responsibilities:

1. Dealing in a variety of fixed income instruments, viz.
2. Buy and sell, i.e dealing in fixed income securities like CPs, CDs, NCDs, GSecs, TBills, SDLs, TREps, CBLO, etc
3. Provide market intelligence, analyze trends, and disseminate information to fund managers.
4. Actively work with CIO/Fund Managers to analyze macro and micro economic relevant factors affecting movement of rates and pricing across tenors and credit profiles. 
5. Coordination with relevant internal teams like Finance, compliance, business, treasury, risk audit etc to ensure smooth functioning of the dealing and cash flow management operations.
6. Understanding of the regulatory guidelines of SEBI/AMFI/IRDAI and RBI
7. Dealing in accordance with the investment policy and operating guidelines, risk and regulatory framework
8. Maintenance of appropriate dealing records for audit purpose 
9. Preparing meaningful MIS regarding daily market movements and share insights with the team on an ongoing basis Equity dealing.
10. Cash flow management and dealing in the Overnight and term money markets
11. End-to-end execution of trades assigned by CIO/Fund manager, including relationship with brokers, arrangers, and market counter parties for sourcing, pricing, and striking deals

Skills Required:

1. Understanding of Macro and micro economic variables
2. Understanding of credit risk and interest risk
3. Well networked with market participants to gain market insights and feedback.
4. Thorough knowledge of theoretical aspects of fixed income instruments and familiarity with relevant terms, viz. duration, credit, cash flow discounting, etc.
5. Hands-on experience on using various dealing and operational platforms provided by CCIL, RBI, NSE & BSE like TREPS, CROMS, NDS-OMS, E-Kuber, RFQ, FTRAC, etc.
6. Intermediate level skills in using MS Excel.
