Job Title: Inventory Supervisor

Reports To: Inventory Manager

Job Summary:

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily inventory operations, including stock accuracy, storage management, material movement, and reporting. The role ensures optimal inventory control practices are followed to support production, dispatch, and overall factory efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily inventory activities such as receiving, storing, issuing, and cycle counting of goods.

2. Maintain accurate stock records and update ERP/WMS systems promptly.

3. Conduct regular stock audits (cycle counts, random checks, and annual physical verification).

4. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock variances.

5. Coordinate with procurement, production, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth material flow.

6. Implement and monitor FIFO / FEFO principles and storage standards.

7. Ensure safe handling, labelling , and stacking of materials in the warehouse.

8. Prepare and submit inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to management.

9. Support process improvement initiatives to reduce losses, damages, and errors.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

2. Experience: 0-3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management

Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (ERP/WMS)

2. Analytical skills for stock reconciliation and data interpretation

3. Leadership and team supervision

4. Excellent communication and coordination abilities

5. Basic knowledge of warehouse safety and material handling

6. Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation
