Job Description

You will be responsible for serving as an Inventory and KIT Incharge in a leading OEM, with a focus on inventory management and issuing KIT loads by procuring raw materials from multiple branches. Your role will involve understanding Bill of Materials (BOM), handling stock documentation, and utilizing your minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity. Additionally, having knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, will be advantageous. Located in Vasai Mumbai, Maharashtra, we prefer a local candidate who is comfortable with the salary range offered. Your skills should include proficiency in managing Kit schedules according to production requirements, maintaining accurate stock levels, and proactively reporting shortages. You should be adept at handling documentation, including invoices, delivery receipts, and shipping manifests. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and potentially ERP systems like SAP is essential. Your responsibilities may include effective communication with the assigned team and support teams, seeking ways to enhance processes, material flow, quality, safety, and time-bound production. You must remain flexible and be willing to perform additional duties as necessary to achieve business objectives. Collaborating with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair is also part of your role. Competencies required for this position include maintaining accurate dispatch records and reports, managing inventory levels, coordinating with warehouse operations, utilizing inventory control methodologies to maintain inventory and meet customer expectations, and meeting defined metrics for inbound and outbound warehouse operations. You should also excel in building partnerships, effective communication, decision-making, driving results, and ensuring accountability.
