Interventional Cardiologist

An upcoming 100-bedded Super specialty Hospital in Ghaziabad, UP with state-of-the-art Cath Lab is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist. As an Interventional Cardiologist, you should hold a qualification of DM Cardiology with a specialization in interventional cardiology. Your role will include attending to patients presenting with suspected cardiovascular diseases, diagnosing, and treating them using both non-invasive and invasive procedures. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic catheter-based interventions, such as coronary angiography and angioplasty. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, radiologists, and anesthesiologists. With a minimum of 3 years of experience post Super specialisation, you should be proficient in conducting coronary angiographies and angioplasties via femoral and radial routes. Your responsibilities will also entail independently performing cath lab procedures, graft angioplasty (simple and complex, primary and elective), peripheral angioplasty, balloon pulmonary valvotomy, IVC filter, IABP, permanent pacemaker insertions, and AICD implantation. Furthermore, you will be expected to conduct pre-procedural evaluations and post-procedural follow-ups to ensure a high standard of patient care. Utilizing advanced imaging and monitoring technologies to guide interventions, you will strive for precision during procedures. In addition, you will lead emergency interventions for heart attack patients, including primary angioplasty, and educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, prevention strategies, and recovery plans. Your role will also involve participating in regular case discussions, hospital rounds, and clinical meetings to ensure integrated patient care. Staying updated with advancements in interventional cardiology techniques and applying them to clinical practice is essential. You will also contribute to medical research, clinical trials, and publications related to interventional cardiology as applicable.
