Role Overview:

The Intern/Junior Executive, Public Policy, will support the public policy team in research, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of client mandates. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in conducting outreach to government bodies and relevant stakeholders on behalf of clients.
  • Undertake secondary and primary research on current policy issues, regulatory developments, and government programmes.
  • Support the drafting, editing, and review of policy briefs, reports, consultation responses, and communication materials.
  • Assist in stakeholder mapping and relationship management activities, including government liaison and public engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in internal meetings, capture key discussions, prepare minutes, and track project milestones and progress.
  • Monitor news developments across diverse sectors to identify policy-relevant updates, regulatory signals, and emerging issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to contribute to client deliverables and broader strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Public Policy, Law, Economics, Political Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Research-oriented mindset with the ability to read, interpret, and synthesise policy documents and regulatory texts.
  • Demonstrated interest in public policy, governance, or the education and skills development ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:

  • Practical exposure to public policy consulting, government engagement, and advocacy.
  • Structured mentorship and learning opportunities with senior professionals and experts.
  • A collaborative and intellectually rigorous work environment that encourages critical thinking and initiative.
  • Competitive remuneration linked to prior experience, performance and contribution during the engagement period.
  • Flexible 5-day working schedule designed to support productivity and work-life balance.
