International Trade Compliance Analyst

Departments:

Reports To:

Taxation Head

1: Job Purpose Statement (Summarize in one/two statements why this job exists, and the contribution makes to the overall business of the company).

  • Support Head of Taxation in leading the CVD investigation preparations
  • Support Accounts team with necessary guidance on reconciliation, documentation, etc.

2: Organisational Relationship (Provide an organisational chart which illustrates the role structure above and below and parallel to this position).

3: Duties & Responsibilities (List in the order of importance the duties & responsibilities of this job)

Decision Making Authority (This will be for every job allocated to the individual)Refer to the Decision making box for detail information

  • Keep updated knowledge on the Customs, Indirect Taxes and FTP
  • Guide team on requirements for the International Trade Investigations
  • Completeness and accuracy of the data for submissions
  • Keeping track of the Related party transactions
  • Keep track of changes in the SAP or Govt. data/ schemes and understand/ study and communicate the changes/ modification in data compilation to relevant team
  • Keeping track of the concessions/ grants/ schemes/ benefits availed by Companies from time to time
  • Ensuring the above data compilation/ accuracy/ completeness is being completed on periodic basis.
  • Reviewing responses and coordinating with external stakeholders and internal stakeholders

  • Ensuring timely compliances and collation of details in advance.
  • Time to time discussion with advisors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data and filings

Educational Qualification

Skills & Knowledge

Competencies

Chartered Accountant

Knowledge:

Behavioral

  • Should have past 5 - 6 years experience in customs, FTP and IDT.
  • Updated on Govt. incentive Schemes / Programs and Customs laws/
  • SAP knowledge preferable
  • Flexibility to change.
  • Flexibility to do things on own in addition to review details shared/ working prepared by others
  • Support the organizational objective for matters related to International Trade disputes

Functional

  • Customs, FTP and Govt. Incentive/ Schemes related knowledge
  • SAP knowledge

Skills:

Work Experience

  • Post qualification experience above 5-6 years in relevant area
