As a Senior Video Producer at our organization, you will be responsible for leading the creation of high-quality visual content for our Hindi service. Your role will encompass driving editorial integrity, storytelling innovation, and audience engagement across platforms, from concept to final cut. You will collaborate closely with the Digital Video Editor, Indian Languages, and work in coordination with the Editor, BBC News Hindi. Our organization, part of the Collective Newsroom, is home to over 250 journalists and operational staff, dedicated to delivering distinctive, impartial, and world-class content in multiple Indian languages including Hindi. Key Responsibilities: - Exercise editorial control and lead video production for Hindi services" social media platforms. - Develop original video concepts and oversee their execution from pre-production to post-production. - Lead the video team of the Hindi service and ensure daily video output meets quality standards. Requirements: - More than 8 years of relevant experience in a reputed media company. - Proficiency in Hindi language and strong English communication skills. - Knowledge of international affairs, social-cultural issues of India. - Understanding of video production from ideation to final output. - Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics. - Broad understanding of the target audience and high editorial judgment and production skills.
