Internal Auditor - Thoppumpady

Role & responsibilities

Conduct regular and surprise audits of gold loans, pledged ornaments, and vault stock.

• Verify gold weight, and valuation as per company standards.
• Cross-check all loan-related documents and ensure data accuracy in the system.
• Cross check all statutory records as instructed by Audit Manager
• Identify discrepancies or potential fraud and report findings to the audit manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI norms, and audit procedures.
• Coordinate with branch managers and staff for audit rectifications.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings with corrective action suggestions.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of gold assets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in gold loan industry audits
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Knowledge of audit procedures and compliance standards
• MS Excel and audit report preparation
• Communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel frequently

Salary : Rs 20,000 + TA + Out station Allowance

Candidates in and around Thoppumpady who are willing to travel are preferred.
