Role Overview: As the Lead Engineer for Interior Trims-Cockpit, you will lead sub systems and deliverables related to Cockpit Console commodities and Interior Trims. Your role requires a proven track record in project management to ensure timely delivery aligned with cost, quality, and attribute targets. Extensive experience in developing and integrating components such as IP & Console, Ducts, Vents, Topper Pads, Glove box, Driver panels, cup holder, and Arm rest is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Establish, plan, and conduct engineering sub system meetings for inclusive cross-functional representation and input. - Oversee design maturity progression from concept to Engineering Sign-Off, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - Set engineering targets aligned with function, quality, and attribute requirements for the Vehicle Program. - Manage cost and weight targets for systems and components. - Develop and maintain the design validation plan (DVP) and lead Failure Mode Avoidance activities. - Resolve design incompatibilities, manage suppliers for timely delivery, and support sourcing and RFQ activities. - Support vehicle launch and pre-production builds, apply APQP effectively, and deliver company goals and strategies. Qualification Required: - BE/B. Tech, ME degree in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering. - Expertise in detailed engineering knowledge, project management, and communication skills. - Proficiency in utilizing engineering tools like FMEA, Agile, or Scrum.,
