Interior Quality Assurance Specialist (Factory)

We are looking for someone who can be the customer’s representative inside our factory and ensure that everything we produce matches exactly what was promised and approved.

Role Overview – What You Will Do

As an Interior Quality Assurance Specialist (Factory) at Magical Nest, you will act as the voice and eyes of the customer on the factory floor.

Your job is to make sure that:

• Every furniture piece is made exactly as per the approved designs
• Colours, materials, finishes and sizes match what the customer has signed off
• All items are properly checked, counted and packed before dispatch
• Nothing is missed or incorrectly sent to the customer’s site

You are the final gatekeeper of quality before our work leaves the factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify all production items against:
• Approved 2D/3D drawings
• Final BOQ and item list
• Customer-approved colour, material, finish and hardware selections
• Check sizes, proportions and functionality (doors, drawers, hardware fittings, etc.).
• Coordinate closely with:
• Interior Designers and 2D/3D teams for design clarifications
• Backend/Production team to correct any issues before dispatch
• Inspect and ensure:
• Proper finishing (edges, paint/laminate, joinery, etc.)
• Clean, damage-free condition of all items
• Oversee packing and labelling:
• Ensure each item is correctly labelled, protected and ready for transport
• Ensure no item from the checklist is missed in the dispatch
• Maintain simple QA checklists and reports for each project.
• Flag any quality issues early and ensure corrections are completed before dispatch.

Who We Are Looking For

Experience:

• 2–6 years in interior/ furniture industry, preferably in:
• Furniture quality checks
• Factory/production supervision
• Site execution with strong understanding of drawings and materials

Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of:
• Modular furniture
• Interior materials (Ply, MDF, laminates, paints, finishes, hardware, etc.)
• Reading and understanding 2D drawings (AutoCAD) and simple 3D views

Skills & Traits:

• Strong attention to detail – you notice the “small things” that others miss
• Ability to read and compare drawings with actual furniture on the shop floor
• Basic documentation skills (checklists, photos, simple reports)
• Good communication with factory team, designers and backend operations
• Ownership mindset – treats the customer’s room as their own project

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Virgonagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• interior / furniture industry: 3 years (Required)
• quality checking / inspection: 1 year (Required)
