Interior Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Design & Project Execution
• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts aligned with client needs and budget.
• Prepare mood boards, layouts, 2D/3D visualizations, and presentations.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and dcor elements.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of projects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure design quality standards.
• Sales & Business Development
• Meet potential clients, understand requirements, and pitch design solutions.
• Prepare and present design proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.
• Convert leads into successful projects by showcasing design expertise and value proposition.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while ensuring profitability.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong design sense and knowledge of space planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar design software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Client-focused approach with problem-solving ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree/diploma or masters degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably with exposure to client-facing roles.
• Prior experience in sales/business development in the interior/real estate industry is an added advantage
