Interior Designer

1. Concept Development

Understand client requirements, lifestyle needs, and brand identity.

Develop mood boards, space planning layouts, and initial design concepts.

Propose creative, functional, and aesthetic design solutions.

2. Design & Documentation

Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D visualizations (renderings or walkthroughs).

Develop working drawings, furniture layouts, false ceiling, flooring, and lighting plans.

Specify materials, finishes, colors, furniture, fixtures, and dcor items.

3. Client Interaction

Conduct design presentations and revisions based on feedback.

Provide design consultations and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the project.

Ensure final design aligns with client expectations and budget.

4. Coordination & Project Execution

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, architects, and MEP teams.

Oversee site execution to ensure adherence to design and quality.

Handle BOQ preparation, material selection, and procurement coordination.

5. Budget & Timeline Management

Prepare cost estimates and assist with project budgeting.

Monitor project milestones and ensure on-time delivery of interior works.

6. Compliance & Quality Control

Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and ergonomic standards.

Conduct site visits for quality checks, snagging, and final handover readiness.

Key Skills Required:

Space Planning & Conceptual Design

AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion (or similar)

Photoshop / Illustrator (for mood boards)

MS Excel (for BOQs, budgeting)

Knowledge of materials, trends, and finishes

Strong communication and presentation skills

Eye for detail and creativity

Site coordination experience is a plus
