Description
As an Interior Design Operations Manager at Indigo Interiors, you will oversee the daily operations of the interior design department. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables. You will also analyze design workflows, develop improvement strategies, and facilitate communication within the design team and other departments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze current design workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for improvement and standardization. - Implement and manage design process frameworks, guidelines, and best practices. - Develop and maintain a design resource library, including templates, specifications, and vendor information. - Oversee the adoption and effective use of design software, tools, and technologies. - Facilitate communication and collaboration within the design team and with other departments. - Monitor design team workload and capacity, identifying potential resource constraints. - Develop and implement strategies for efficient allocation of design resources across projects. - Collaborate with leadership on forecasting future design resource needs. - Manage and onboard freelance or contract design support as needed. - Develop and maintain a system for organizing and sharing design knowledge, research, and best practices. - Facilitate training and onboarding for new design team members on processes, tools, and standards. - Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure design deliverables meet company standards and client expectations. - Develop and maintain design templates and style guides to promote consistency across projects. - Facilitate design reviews and feedback sessions to ensure quality and alignment. - Continuously evaluate design operations and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. - Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance design efficiency and creativity. - Lead initiatives to implement process changes and improvements within the design team. - Track key design operations metrics and generate reports on design team performance and operational efficiency. - Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Act as a central point of contact for design operations-related inquiries. - Foster strong working relationships with design directors, project managers, and other stakeholders. - Communicate effectively with the design team regarding process updates, resource allocation, and operational changes. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Operations Management, or a related field. - Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in the interior design industry, with a focus on project management, operations, or team coordination. - Strong understanding of the interior design process from conceptualization to execution. - Experience with design software and project management tools. - Familiarity with resource planning and allocation. - Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.,
