As an Associate Unity game developer with 2-7 years of experience in game development, preferably focusing on 2D games, you will play a crucial role in the Unity Dev team. Your responsibilities will revolve around front-end (client) side development, where you will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Your expertise in Unity is paramount, encompassing scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, user session management, game physics, particle systems, and debugging. Your role will involve implementing new game features and services, continuously enhancing game quality by resolving crashes, ANRs, and performance issues to ensure an exceptional user experience. You will be expected to integrate third-party SDKs like Analytics, Monetisation, and Crash reporting. Furthermore, optimizing the game and related in-house written libraries for the game's development will be part of your key responsibilities. Having experience in shipping games on Android/iOS, estimating timelines for new features/releases, and possessing a strong grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms are essential for this role. Additional valuable skills include working in the Product industry, understanding client/server interaction, developing mobile multiplayer games, familiarity with Android development/Objective C, contributing to open source projects, and engaging in interesting hobby projects.
