Interactive Exhibit Curator - History Pillar

Role Overview: At Param, we are looking for an Interactive Exhibit Curator who is passionate about history, storytelling, and creating immersive experiences. As an Interactive Exhibit Curator, you will be responsible for curating engaging exhibits that bring historical narratives to life through technology, emotion, and imagination at our History Experience Centres. Key Responsibilities: - Curate and conceptualize interactive exhibits to make historical topics accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. - Collaborate with historians, designers, content creators, AV teams, and tech developers to create tactile and tech-enabled experiences. - Develop interpretive strategies combining narrative storytelling, multisensory engagement, and spatial design. - Write exhibit scripts, labels, and content for physical and digital interfaces. - Prototype and test interactive exhibit ideas with visitors and internal teams. - Coordinate with fabrication and production teams for exhibit installation. - Ensure visitor engagement, accessibility, and user experience are prioritized in curatorial decisions. Qualification Required: - Degree in Museum Studies, History, Cultural Studies, Design, Exhibition Design, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in museums, galleries, experience centres, or similar public-facing spaces. - Strong understanding of interactive exhibit development and multisensory learning strategies. - Passion for storytelling and making history relevant, inclusive, and exciting. - Familiarity with digital media tools, AV tech, AR/VR, or interactive software is a plus. - Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills. - Ability to work across disciplines from academic research to design thinking.,
