About The Opportunity

• Provide direct clinical management for ICU patients, including ventilator support, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and multi-organ failure interventions.
• Perform invasive procedures such as central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, and bedside ultrasoundguided interventions.
• Lead daily multidisciplinary rounds with nursing staff, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and consulting specialists to optimize care plans.
• Implement sepsis bundles, protocolized sedation strategies, and early mobilization programs to improve patient outcomes.
• Oversee rapid response and code blue teams, ensuring ACLS/ATLS algorithms are followed and team performance is continuously refined.
• Contribute to ICU protocols, quality-assurance initiatives, morbidity & mortality reviews, and staff education sessions.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• MD/MCh/DNB in Critical Care Medicine or Anaesthesiology with ICU fellowship.
• Minimum 3 years on-site ICU experience in a high-acuity tertiary hospital.
• Board certification or equivalent in Critical Care Medicine.
• Valid ACLS and ATLS certifications.
• Preferred:
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and tele-ICU platforms.
• Training in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and advanced ventilator weaning protocols.
