As the Inventory Accounting Manager , you will be a key member of the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Accounting team, supporting critical accounting processes in a dynamic and growing environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory accounting, managing internal controls, and partnering cross-functionally with procurement, FP&A, and shared services. Success in this role means delivering timely and accurate financial close processes, enhancing inventory controls, and providing data-driven insights to help the business scale. This role plays a vital part in maintaining financial integrity and driving operational efficiency across the supply chain and manufacturing function. Responsibilities: This role involves managing and overseeing various accounting functions within the region, including: Inventory Subledger Management: Own the inventory subledger and coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement and FP&A teams for accruals and analyses. Inventory Controls Implementation: Develop and manage end-to-end inventory controls, including those related to inventory cutoff and logistics cost accruals. Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations: Prepare and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to support the 5-day close requirement for month-end close, in coordination with shared services teams. Indirect Cost Monitoring: Analyze actuals, plan estimates by materials category, project/order, etc. Overhead Costs Analysis: Analyze and forecast overhead costs and rates. Inventory Analysis and Reporting: Conduct inventory analysis and reporting. Physical Inventories Assistance: Assist with periodic physical inventories. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance experience, with a focus on industrial manufacturing. Background in contract manufacturing is preferred. Knowledge of the energy or energy storage business is an advantage. Experience in public accounting and in publicly traded companies is required . Ability to independently manage corporate financial controls in a high-growth environment. Proven cross-functional leadership and communication skills, including direct supervisory experience. SAP experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree is required , and preferably a master’s degree, in accounting, finance, or equivalent training. CPA is preferred Show more Show less
