Integration Lead Engineer

Role Overview: Chubb, a world leader in insurance, is seeking an OPS SRE Lead to join their team in Hyderabad. As a part of the digital transformation journey at Chubb India, you will play a key role in leading large Operations and Technology teams. With a focus on delivering complex, cross-functional projects, you will leverage your expertise in integrating legacy systems with modern applications and platforms like Springboot, Kafka, and Apache Camel. Your leadership will be crucial in implementing cloud and digital technologies in Agile environments, ensuring operational excellence, and designing innovative solutions to address business and technical challenges. Key Responsibilities: - Lead large, global Operations and Technology teams, focusing on delivering complex, cross-functional projects. - Integrate legacy systems with modern applications/APIs (Microservices) and platforms like Springboot, Kafka, and Apache Camel. - Implement cloud and digital technologies (Agile, DevOps, ITSM, ITIL) in Agile environments. - Lead operational support for applications, infrastructure, and security, including vulnerability management and upgrades. - Analyze complex business and technical challenges, understand customer needs, and develop effective, aligned solutions. - Design innovative, complex solutions, analyze requirements, and guide engineering processes. - Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve platform and application resiliency. - Utilize messaging and logging tools such as Kafka and Elastic ELK/Open Search. - Build/enhance Java Springboot and Apache Camel based integration services. Experience with Volante is a plus. - Monitor and enhance the performance of systems using monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, or Azure Monitor. Qualifications Required: - Proven leadership experience with 10+ years of successfully leading large, global Operations and Technology teams. - Deep understanding of integrating legacy systems with modern applications/APIs and platforms like Springboot, Kafka, and Apache Camel. - Extensive experience implementing cloud and digital technologies in Agile environments. - Proven track record leading operational support for applications, infrastructure, and security. - Ability to analyze complex business and technical challenges, understand customer needs, and develop effective, aligned solutions. - Hands-on experience designing innovative, complex solutions and guiding engineering processes.
