Integration Architect

As an Apigee X Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing API management solutions using the Apigee platform. Your role will involve collaborating closely with clients to facilitate the migration from older versions of Apigee to Apigee X while ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your key responsibilities will include: - Architectural Design: Developing and guiding Apigee implementations with a focus on API security, traffic management, and reliability. - Client Interaction: Working directly with clients to explain architectural considerations and differences between various Apigee versions. - Proxy Development: Designing effective proxies and shared flows in adherence to best practices. - Platform Operations: Implementing and operating Apigee platforms, encompassing installation, automation, and CI/CD integration. - Mentorship: Providing mentorship and guidance to other consultants in resolving complex Apigee challenges. To excel in this role, you will need: - Extensive experience with various Apigee platforms such as Edge Cloud, OPDK, Hybrid, and X. - Proficiency in Apigee proxy development and network configuration. - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Apigee components like Cassandra, nginx routers, and Kubernetes. - Strong communication skills and prior experience in client-facing consulting roles. - Knowledge of API security, particularly OAuth and secure API development. - A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred qualifications for this position include certification in Apigee API Management or Google Cloud Platform.,
