Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Chennai for an Insurance Coordinator. The Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for managing insurance claims, coordinating between patients and insurance providers, verifying policy details, and ensuring timely processing of claims. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, assisting patients in understanding insurance policies and claim processes, and addressing insurance-related inquiries. Collaboration with internal departments and external insurance companies is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance coordination, claim handling, and policy verification
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and tracking
• Effective communication skills to liaise with patients and coordinate with insurance providers
• Proficiency using relevant software tools and systems for claim processing and record management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting and with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare insurance policies and procedures
• Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is a plus
• Relevant educational background or certification in insurance, healthcare administration, or related fields
