Insurance Functional Analyst - Senior

Role Overview: You will be joining EY's Consulting Services as a Data and Analytics Insurance Functional Analyst - Senior, where you will contribute to solving complex issues and seizing opportunities to enhance business outcomes through data-driven insights. Your primary responsibility will involve working on various Data and Analytics projects within the insurance domain. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the insurance domain, particularly Property and Casualty (PnC). - Lead the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, implement RDBMS, data marts, and data lakes on cloud platforms. - Oversee and optimize data architecture and query performance following best practices. - Independently and collaboratively work on implementing new data strategies and designs across various data platforms and tools. - Collaborate with business and application teams to implement data strategies, build data mapping, and develop data models. - Define and enforce data modeling and design standards, tools, and best practices for enterprise data models. - Proactively address project requirements, articulate challenges, and mitigate project delivery risks effectively. Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech/MCA/MBA with 6-10 years of industry experience in Data-related engagements. - Minimum 3 years of experience in the Insurance Domain. - Proficiency in end-to-end data solutions including analysis, mapping, ETL architecture, and data modeling. - Strong understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Data Modeling concepts. - Experience with Guidewire DataHub & InfoCenter, relational and dimensional data modeling, ETL applications, and SQL. - Ability to analyze historical data, establish scalable data processes, and collaborate with technology teams to develop analytical models. - Strong communication skills, adaptability to agile environments, and exceptional interpersonal skills. - Intellectual curiosity, eagerness to learn, and experience with unstructured data are advantageous. - Exposure to ETL tools, knowledge of P&C insurance, and prior team leadership experience are desirable.
