Insurance Executive

You will be responsible for conducting insurance pre-authorization for procedures and treatments, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained before services are rendered. Additionally, you will verify and confirm coverage post-service, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements. Managing the insurance verification process for patients will also be a key part of your role. It is important to collaborate with medical staff to obtain necessary documentation for claims and submit and follow up on insurance claims, ensuring timely processing and resolution of issues. Working closely with patients to explain their insurance benefits and any out-of-pocket costs is crucial. You will maintain accurate records of insurance claims and patient interactions and stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and hospital policies. Addressing and resolving discrepancies or issues related to insurance claims, including denials and appeals, will also be part of your responsibilities. Ideally, you should have a Graduation or Post Graduation in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Candidates with 1 to 10 years of experience in hospital insurance processes are preferred. A strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing procedures is required along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for billing and claims management is necessary. You should also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
