Job Title: Trainee / Executive / Senior Executive
Function: Insurance Desk Expert (IDE)

Reports To: Team Leader / Assistant Manager
Locations: Bangalore

Role Overview

The Insurance Desk Expert team plays a vital role in supporting medical insurance claim assistance through effective hospital relations, billing coordination, and client management. The role contributes to delivering competitive services within the insure-tech and reimbursement claim settlement space, while supporting patients and hospital partners through technology-driven solutions.

As an Operations Executive, the selected candidate will assist the Claim Assistance Team deployed across partner hospitals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and seamless coordination.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interact with hospital insurance patients and assist with claim-related queries.
  • Create and manage WhatsApp groups to share updates and required information.
  • Collect necessary documents from patients and hospitals.
  • Coordinate with internal medical and operations teams for initial approvals.
  • Review files thoroughly before sending them to the approval team.
  • Educate patients regarding deductions and policy-related clarifications.
  • Create awareness about reimbursement claims (pre- & post-hospitalization).
  • Collect claim support documents and coordinate with the backend team for timely submission to the TPA/Insurance company.
  • Address grievances raised by hospital staff or patients and escalate to the Team Leader when required.
  • Provide regular follow-ups and updates to clients.
  • Manage issues efficiently at the hospital level and escalate to senior stakeholders when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma, Graduate, or Undergraduate (any discipline).
  • Strong listening and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience

  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in a hospital or insurance environment (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to handle new challenges.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Capability to multitask, prioritize work efficiently, and maintain accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
