As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will focus on developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, which offers tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing for insurance companies. As a Senior Associate in the Business Application Consulting team, your responsibilities will include analyzing client requirements, supporting testing and client queries, and building meaningful client relationships. You will actively participate in scrum calls, provide status reports, and engage in CoE activities, training sessions, and recruitment efforts as needed and interested. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in Guidewire products, particularly in PolicyCenter configuration. - Proficiency in Guidewire platform components such as Gosu scripting, UI, and Data Model. - Strong knowledge in Webservices, XML, and ant script. - Familiarity with databases like Oracle/SQL Server and SQL querying. - Experience in SCRUM Agile methodology, preferably Certified Scrum Master (CSM). - Proficiency in server technologies like Tomcat/JBoss. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Excellent analytical abilities. Requirements: - Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns. - Experience in estimation, team leadership, code review, and mentoring. - Hands-on involvement in at least two Guidewire implementations. - Additional skills in Thunderhead/MuleSoft Integration. - Exposure to SCM tools like GIT, SVN, and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of server technologies like Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere. - Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure. - Proficiency in Agile delivery methods like Scrum or SAFe. - Domain knowledge in the insurance industry. Qualifications that Stand Out: - Preferred 3+ years of experience with proficiency in Property & Casualty Insurance domain. - Expertise in Guidewire Product Suite and experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology. - Strong solution evaluation skills. - Ability to establish and maintain client relationships. - Experience in creating impactful presentations. - Contributions to Insurance CoE and training initiatives.,
