Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and testing of instruments like pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters. Carry out troubleshooting and repair of control systems including PLCs, DCS, control valves, and analyzers. Assist in installation and commissioning of new instruments and control systems. Maintain records and documentation of calibration, maintenance activities, and breakdowns. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance as per the schedule. Work closely with process and electrical teams for interdependent tasks. Follow safety procedures and use PPE while working in hazardous environments. Identify and escalate issues requiring immediate attention or spare replacement. Key Skills and Competencies: Sound knowledge of process instruments , control valves, transmitters, and PLC/DCS systems. Ability to read and interpret P&ID, loop diagrams , and instrument manuals. Familiar with HART communicators, multimeters, calibrators, and testing tools . Experience in handling instruments from brands like Yokogawa, Siemens, ABB, Endress+Hauser , etc. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of industrial safety practices and work permits. Educational Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering
