Company : Astral Adhesives Experience Required : 2-5 years Qualification : ITI - IMCP About the Role: Astral Adhesives is looking for a skilled and reliable Instrumentation Technician for its Manufacturing Plant . The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance of process instruments and ensuring smooth operation of PLC/DCS systems in a chemical plant environment. Key Responsibilities: Instrumentation Maintenance: Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of field instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, level sensors, control valves). Carry out routine calibration and servicing of instruments as per the schedule. PLC & DCS Exposure: Provide first-level support for PLC/DCS-related instrumentation faults . Assist in troubleshooting signal issues, logic mismatches, and sensor problems. Operational Support: Ensure smooth functioning of instrumentation during batch and continuous operations. Assist during equipment shutdowns, startups, and emergency maintenance. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain logs of calibration, maintenance, and fault diagnostics. Report abnormalities and recommend improvements to the maintenance supervisor.
