Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and analyzers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment failures and process control issues.
• Calibrate various instruments ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new instrumentation and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and prepare reports on work performed, issues identified, and solutions implemented.
• Monitor instrument performance and suggest appropriate upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for instrumentation faults.
• Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven 4 to 8 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation devices such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, control valves, PLC/DCS systems, and calibration tools.
• Familiarity with process control systems and industrial automation.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficient in using instrumentation maintenance tools and software.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices relevant to instrumentation.
• Willingness to work in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat, and adhere to company policies.

Preferred:

• Certifications related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems.
